【about design】 This pattern is my second collaboration with Kokon Yarn. The flower motif is worked not as embroidering but as weaving between the stitches while knitting. It is traditional Estonian technique and called “Roosimine”, which means Rose in Estonian language. The pattern made with this technique is called “Roositud”. Traditional Estonian Roositud patterns have quite geometrical form and are worked in a set of bright primary colors. I have designed my own flower Roositud. Traditionally it’s used for very tight gauge knitting like mittens, gloves or socks. Intentionally I have worked it in very loose tension with chunky mohair. It gave the motif a 3-dimensional look. CC1 (Leaf): 2 mini skeins of Kokon Yarn Chunky Mohair, shown in color Cork. or 15 meters / 17 yards of thick mohair yarn. You can also use 3 to 4 starnds of lace weight mohair yarn held together. Making crochet chain from mohair lace could also be a lovely alternative. CC2 (Flower): 1 mini skeins of Kokon Yarn DK Weight Merino, shown in color Gold. or 6 meters / 7 yards of DK or Worsted weight wool yarn. You can also use 2 starnds of fingering weight yarn held together. ★Gauge（after blocking）： 20 sts x 28 rows = 10 cm /4“, with main needle in stockinette stitch ★Needles & Notions: 4.5 mm / US 7 needle as main needle, 3.5 mm / US 4 for neck, hem and cuff.
