【about design】 This pattern is designed in collaboration with KOKON YARN. The KOKON INDIGO YARN with merino wool has a gorgeous soft drape. Speckle and tie dye yarn colors reminded me of winter fjord landscape in Arctic Norway with snow-covered mountains and deep blue water. Therefore the pullover has only some positive ease (not extra oversized) and light and soft texture at loose gauge, which gives beautiful drape to garment. When you wear knitted garment with heavier yarn at a loose gauge, it will be stretched under its own weight, especially at the shoulder and neckline. I have decided to use this effect as a design element. It was not quite predictable, but after many tries, I have found the perfect fit. I made mohair flower, which can be put on the pullover. The flower is also included in pattern. The pattern is worked seamlessly from the top down. It is a very quick project with big size needles.
